Our spectrophotometers are delivered rebuilt and come with a two year limited warranty with the limitation being three months on circuit boards and consumables.
During the rebuilding process the spectrophotometers have:
-Covers sanded, filled and repainted
-The Deuterium lamp is replaced
-The Tungsten lamp is replaced
-Condenser lens is is normally replaced(if applicable)
-The data cable (GPIB or Serial) is replaced
There are also various procedures carried out to maximize the spectrophotometer's performance:
-The monochromator wavelength accuracy is calibrated
-Shutters are dry lubricated
-Wavelength drive is lubricated
-Lamp power supply current is calibrated
-Optics are cleaned(minus the grating)
-Signal to noise is checked and samples are run
